Had one of those on my sailboat, going back when they were manufactured
in the USA. That one worked for THIRTEEN years. Replaced it when it died
honorably. BUT, now Guest has them manufactured in the PRC. The new one
lasted all of EIGHT MONTHS. We took it apart, and my wife and I saw that
not only was it cheaply assembled, the wiring was of the lowest possible
'quality'. So, we are going to a dashboard fan, at least they cost ONE
FOURTH the price Guest charges for its gimmick.
P.S.: I am an electrical engineer, my wife is a computer HW engineer.
