My children really enjoyed this series of CDs. They could do the overview (in a game format) and then test themselves and see the score and try to beat it. The only reason I took away one star is that the teacher section did not work correctly (if you want to use it). I would recommend.

Did not work with Vista or Windows 7Nov 06, 2010

Although the info says it will work with these systems, it did not for me, something about not being compatible with 64 bit and I'm not sure if there's a way to fix that. However, we fortunately have an older computer that it did work well on and I'm very happy with the program. I really think it will meet my needs. A couple things to keep in mind, it is in British English and not American so some of the words may not be familiar to your children--names of people, place names, etc. It also took me a awhile to find the password to the parents section; that can be found in the "manual" on the start up page.

I have bought a lot of grammar software, and this is the best grammar software that teaches you grammar. The only problem though after you learn from this software you need to reinforce it. Buy a grammar practice workbook, and practice what you learned from the software Grammar Made Easy.

I like this program because it has very clear explanations for each of the grammar terms. However, each section has only four to six problems to test understanding. I was hoping for much more. By the time my son had gone through the tests twice, he had memorized the answers, but still didn't understand the concept. I do not recommend this.
