Actually waterproof and good for hours to about 25 degrees above zeroNov 27, 2010
By D. Kelly These gloves keep my hands completely dry when they are submersed in water. I wash windows in Wisconsin in the winter and these gloves work great at keeping your hands completely dry. The only draw back is they are a mid weight glove and when the temp drops below twenty five degrees they only give fingertip protection for about an hour. Well worth the price you just may want to keep a heavy pair of thermal gloves handy if prolong cold is an issue.
They work great as fishing gloves too the mid weight makes them much more dexterous than heavy weighted thermal gloves. Perfect for handling fish and getting to and from the shanty. I'd give them five stars if they were just a bit warmer.
Keep in miind that very few gloves for this price will perform as well in cold wet situations and still allow you to actually use your hands effectively.
I really rate them at four and a half stars, great bang for the buck.

These gloves are well suited for wet and cold weather work. I work with electrical cable outside in all weather types and these gloves work well at keeping my hands warm well still enabling me some dexterity

Best Winter Sailing GlovesNov 03, 2010
By Beachlurk If you are like me, you tried ski gloves for winter sailing. Which lasted exactly until the first time you pulled up a wet rope. Then you had nasty soggy freezing gloves and had to take them off. These fix the problem. Neoprene lined with fleece (polyester, I believe). Your hands can't get wet from handling wet gear. They are so warm I had to remove them once because my hands were actually too hot. And they are not super-expensive, like the ones sold at specialty sailing stores.
I think these are a great glove for winter sailors. As long as the water isn't frozen, no reason not to be out there enjoying the winter weather under sail!!

GREAT FOR STOCKING GROCERIES & RESETS!!!Aug 03, 2011
By Anita I have to tell you I was cautious. I searched and searched for a pair of gloves for work. I am a frozen food clerk for a grocery chain and needed something waterproof, warm and with great dexterity. I read a review from a lady from NC I believe, and she boasted about these gloves, I have to say after just 6 hrs I am ordering a second pair. My hands get cold, wet, frozen then thawed several times a day. After they were delivered today, with these gloves, my hands stayed warm and dry. I can type on the keyboard, the small hand held scanners and place price tags I knock down. AWESOME!!!! I only gave it 4 stars because I figured I should own them longer before giving them all 5.

Best Fishing Gloves Ever!Feb 08, 2010
By David Frydenlund Absolutely nothing bad about these gloves! They're very soft inside and have a nice grip on the outside. This was exactly what I needed - a pair of gloves that will not only last me a long time, but be great for ice fishing and working in the snow. Thank you so much!!
