My dog ate my charger as well, what's up with that? Anyhow I came to trusty amazon to buy a new one and the only review on here made me think I was getting some shady piece of equipment. Much to my delight when I opened it I saw the Garmin label! It works perfect just like my prechewed up one did! whew!!! I couldn't imagine running without my garmin!

I purchased this item for my husband for Christmas to be used in conjunction with the Garmin golf gadget that tells distance to the hole. At this time my husband has not had a chance to use the golf gadget yet. Hopefully he will soon. He did charge the golf gadget when we traveled and that was very easy to do and convenient, but that's as far as he got. I received this item quickly and well-packaged.

This was ordered as a replacement when my dog ate my original for a Forerunner. Overall, a poor design but if you're buying it individually from a device you don't have much of a choice. At time the "teeth" don't line up, or the device shifts and one falls off.

Don't buy this unless the charging/data clip that came with your needs to be replaced. Not knowing that the clip was included with the S-1 gps watch I ordered at the same time, I returned the clip to amazon as soon as the watch arrived from a third party a week later. Amazon graciously arranged the return , I was however charged for the shipping as I chose the explanation "ordered in error" which I was unable to change. I felt more like I'd been deceived when the "customer also purchased" led me to believe that the clip was an accessory.
