Price is too high!Jan 15, 2011
By Doug H. This same product sells for $3.25 on the Nalgene website.
The product itself (the Grip 'n' Gulp) is wonderful. I'm buying a new replacement valve now, and wanted to compare prices between Nalgene's site and Amazon. Granted, this is being sold through a third party, but this price is ridiculous.

Works, but overpriced!Dec 28, 2010
By J. Frazier I have a Grip n Gulp cup for my two year old son and I love it. These valves do a pretty good job of keeping the cup spillproof. However, a few times my son has dropped his cup and the valves come dislodged and the cup leaks. My major complaint is the price for these replacement valves. For this price you can practically buy two new cups! Your older ones may not be spillproof anymore if you need a new valve but they can just be used when your child is more careful about where he places his cup. I would not buy these.

Replacement valves only!!!May 01, 2010

While I love the Nalgene Grip-N-Gulp bottles, this is ONLY two replacement valves for those said bottles. The picture, in combination with being intentionally overpriced to make you think you're buying the bottles, is misleading....A couple updates from my original post First, they seem to have updated the picture, so it is now no longer misleading. Second, I should have said from the start that I own six of these cups (for my kids) and I love them! My only frustration was in the picture (which has since been corrected), and the pricing (which after shipping is about the same as anywhere else).
It works..Dec 04, 2010
By Crittersizer At least the manufacturer offers spare valves for their product. Only negative is that the price is not inexpensive.
yes, they're valves, but I lost one so I needed theseJun 09, 2010
By Amanda J I lost one of the "sip and gulp" valves which made the sippy cup a leaky cup. My son likes these, they don't leak and they're easy to clean, BPA free and light.
the price may seem high but when I compared, the prices were all the same when you figured in shipping.
