Wildly overpriced, but these are the moving parts you needJul 05, 2011

The great thing about a Hi-Lift jack is that it will last longer than you. However, at some point you're going to need to replace the climbing pins. If I were buying these separately at the hardware store, I be out $6 tops. Oh well, they work and that's what counts!

I wasn't looking forward to this but it turned out to be very easy; maybe 15 minutes. The instructions are basic but if you pay attention to the location of the parts in reference to each other before you take them apart the re-install goes fast and easy. Plus there's a diagram. The results are amazing! This jack is at least 30 years old and has been a pain to use for a long time. Now it works better than new. Action is smooth as silk both up and down. If your jack is getting stubborn don't hesitate.

this kit rocks. very simple to install. mandatory for anyone who uses their hi-lift. just make sure you clean the unit very well before install.

I was given an old Hi-Lift jack (probably 20yrs) that had been used on some very heavy machinery. A couple of the retaining pins were bent and the springs were rusty so it didn't work very well. I cleaned it up, replaced all of the parts with what came in the kit, and lubed as instructed. Now my old hand me down Hi-Lift works like new.

I bought this to replace the parts from a jack I've had for 16 years. It had bent/rusted parts from all of the years of use/abuse I put it through. This kit was drop-in easy and worked perfectly.
