 Doesn't work on Fellowes Star machineMar 13, 2011

We couldn't get the comb to work on the Fellowes Star binding machine because this size is too small. Basically had to bind the book manually. Fortunately, it was only 7 pages so it wasn't hard to do. We'll be going with one size up to bind even small books.

It was wonderful to find the plastic combs. They are extremely reliable and the price is great. We have used them for two different (booklets), and belive me, easy to insert and they hold papers quite nicely.

These little beauties work great. I always wondered how this works, and now I am enlightened. The only thing is, make sure to select the correct size (diameter) as even a small one will hold quite a lot of sheets of paper.

While these bindings will hold 20 sheets, remember to allow for the added thickness of cardboard or plastic covers. With covers, these may only hold 15 or so sheets comfortably.
