I bought this quite some time ago but haven't gotten around to the review until now. There is so much of this floss that I think I will never have to purchase anymore during my lifetime! However, I don't embroider massive projects either so, for the person who does, it looks like it would still last a long time. I've looked around and this price seems to be very competitive as well. I don't consider it to be a "toy" as the review indicates but, I guess girls would use it for making those bracelets and other items associated with the younger set. I use this for hand embroidering names and cartoon-style items on felt and other fabrics. I really recommend this due to the price, quality and shipping speed.

I really love how many different colors come in this package...my daughters' friendship bracelets look amazing!! Perfect set for someone that is just getting started :) Enjoy!!

All embrioderies are provided with tipical color numbers, that you should buy to finish the work. The "gold standard" is DMS color numbers. You can easily find converters in the internrt from "DMS number" to "Anchor number" or to some other tipes of floss but I have found nothing in the internet, that can help me to convert colors, provided in embriodery instructions to this Iris floss colors. Believe me, i tried a lot! I found many discussions of people, facing the same problem, but no solution. So in fact, I can not use it now in most cases. I have just ordered some DMS colors finaly.
Maybe it is just new on market and converters will appear later saomewhere, but as for now - it is very hard to make use of it, meaning.. to match colors you need.
The floss quality is good. and it is rather cheap.

I bought this package hoping to get back into the friendship bracelet game after a lonnnng hiatus. The amount of floss you get is great for the price, but there are a couple of things I wish I had known before buying it:
-There aren't as many neutral skeins as I would have liked. I was hoping to get several skeins of black floss but there were only one or two in the package. There was no grey at all, which I found odd considering how many different colors there are.
-There are lots of skeins but they aren't very big. I used nearly an entire skein on one bracelet (though it was a pretty complicated pattern that called for a lot of floss).
The quality of the floss is great, the colors are rich and varied and it's a great value if you're just looking for a lot of floss. If you're picky about colors though, you may want to look for something more tailored to your needs.

I was very excited to receive this package of floss, and I must say that it is excellent quality, especially for the price for all 105 skeins! The colors are wonderful; there is a wide range of set colors, and they are also very distinguishable. I have only used them, so far, to make friendship bracelets. They have worked out incredibly well. I'm sure they would work well with other crafts as well. I am deeply satisfied with the quality and the wide range of colors of these skeins and with my newly made bracelets, and I am also satisfied with the order too. I think that I'll be ordering this product every time I run out of floss (I think it'll take a while to run out considering all of the skeins there are!).
