This throne is ok but if you have a little more spending money i would get a different one. this one hurts a lot and looks cushiony but it is not at all. but as i said if you can spend a little more i would do that.

Does the jobSep 18, 2011

Not super comfy, and I wish it had more fine height adjustment options. But you want a cheap, good functioning throne, you got one!

Not what others say.May 08, 2011

This is a great drum throne. There really isn't a reason to pay high prices for all of these other thrones when this is fine. I've been drumming for 2 years on an old artist stool. It was uncomfortable, and honestly, disregard other reviews(They are probably used to softy cushiony thrones, unlike me), this throne is comfortable enough. Now that I have a real throne, I'm really good at double bass and the like, because for the past two years I have been using that artist stool and not only was that uncomfortable, but it made loud creaking sounds and had no adjustable factors to it. This is a very solid, strong drum throne, it can easily hold my,.. 185 pound brother. It has a wing nut on the bottom tripod that lets you adjust the tripod. there is a pole that has 5 different height holes drilled through it. You put this wing nut through the hole of your choice and twist it to adjust height. The throne is great except that it slightly swivels side to side a couple inches, but it is actually helpful and doesn't make drumming harder but almost adjusting itself for comfort. To fix this, (with a clamp or vice) clamp the spot where the two main poles meet. This bends the larger pole to tighten onto the smaller on and this fixes the swivel. Don't worry about the clacking sound it makes, this is just the bolts that hold the double bracings on the tripod together that may be loose. Overall a great drum throne, that, really is for any player(Though it only has 5 height adjustments). and for $30.00, this is a steal. I highly recommend.
Great product, great priceApr 24, 2012
By LaurenL I bought the Cannon UP 197 Drum Throne mainly because of the price. I use it to play the drums and keyboard at my house. Easy to assemble, comfortable, and arrived quickly (however I have amazon prime). I would recommend this to others.
Decent but smallApr 05, 2012
By Zoox This drum throne is adequate for my needs but seems to be built for a child. Perhaps I missed something in the description, but it is not very robust and is rather low.
