The hat is great with one exception- the rear flap is a bit short and barely covers the neck. When bending the head down it exposes some of the neck. Otherwise, very comfortable.

I just brought this hat back from a week in the Grand Canyon sun and am I impressed! Lightweight, packs easily, waterproof, cleans easily, and, most importantly, keeps the sun off one's ears and neck. Easily adjustable to head and stays in place. I would highly recommend.

I couldn't find this hat in the local store for the same price. Not the most stylish hat and I wish the front visor was formed with more of a curve. Definitely does the job of keeping the sun off.

These flap caps are a little hard to find locally but we bought a similar one while on vacation last year. Hubby wears them when mowing and weeding and such to keep his neck and ears from getting burned. I picked up this one when I found it. I got the olive which is a little darker than it appears on the screen. the lighter one would have been more sun reflective but I thought it would get dirty too fast.
