doesn't lastDec 17, 2009
By Ken Mclaughlin In June 2009 I purchased 4 of these units and loved them so much I bought 6 more. In September 2 of them stopped working. I returned them to West Marine and they gave me 2 more in exchange. October found another not working..... then last night December 16 2009 yet another one failed. I'm going to return them to West Marine and get 2 more.....
The factory has a two year warranty and so for they have exchanged them, but it's a pain. Thats 4 units failing out of 10 within six months???????????
I love them and will continue exchanging them as long as I can, but be warned, they have not lasted a year yet alone two years.

Don't expect them to lastFeb 15, 2012
By DavidH I bought one for a low wall at the edge of my driveway. They throw off a decent amount of light, and stay lit about as long as my other solar lights in my front yard. For the first 6 months, they worked fine. Then they worked intermittently for the next 6 months, until finally they simply died. You can't open them up to replace a battery so they're basically a throw away item. I'm shopping for another one but this time, I'm willing to pay a little more for one that lasts longer.

Great walkway light or marker. It has two modes, constant on or blinking mode. It throw off adequate light. It would have got 5 stars except some water got into the light area, however that did not seem to greatly effect it performance.
