Just got this yesterday and so far it seems pretty accurate. I put 60 lbs of gym weights on it and it was off by about .2 lb. I don't need it to be absolutely accurate just as long as it's close and consistent. It looks great. The backlight is a big plus. I actually bought this at Costco. It was about $25 with a $5 off sale, so it cost me $20. Had I known how good this one was I would have bought it here for this price had Costco not had it.

This scale is great! It is beautiful and the LCD screen is easy to read under any kind of light.

I purchased this scale to replace a similar Taylor scale that had given me many years of service. I knew that this scale was listed as refurbished but I expected a much better product than I received. The finish looks like it has been badly treated and the scale feels flimsy when I step on it. I am not convinced that it is accurate but I have nothing to compare it with. It appears to me that this scale was never refurbished. It was just dumped in a box and mailed "as is." The box it was shipped in had no labels to indicate there was glass inside or that careful handling was required. This scale was definitely not a bargain and by the time I paid the shipping cost, I feel that I made a costly mistake with this purchase.
