My daughter just got this as a Hanukkah present and she loves it. She immediately started coloring the tattoos and putting them on all her friends (and me - I'm sporting two right now). She particularly liked the "bracelet" tattoos, those that you can put around your wrist.
As the other review says, the tattoos are hard to remove. That makes sense, you don't want to lose them by simply washing your hands. But they come out relatively easily with an abrasive towel and some rubbing alcohol (still, a little uncomfortable for a child, but then again, my kids just wear their tattoos until they fade off).
My one issue with the product is that it's rather expensive for the amount of tattoos you get - still, my daughter loved this kit so much that I may buy it for her again.

Went to a party and they had these. We ran to our local store to get them. A blast, and the thrill of making your own was awesome. My daughter loves it.
As for reviews they fade. The markers do fade, but who cares.. tattoos arent supposed to last. My daughter just recolored them

the markers show up well and the decals are easy to transfer but the the colors fade very easily when clothes rub on it and come off too easily with a little water. Slight rubbing with water removes the decals. At first impression, it works well but doesn't last. I also wished it included a black marker so kids could draw their own designs.

I bought these for my 10 year old granddaughter. She loves tattoos and these were even more fun. She uses the pens to make her own original tattoos also. The ink seems to last on the skin just the right amount of time. It can be scrubbed off right away, or lasts a few days if left alone.

I bought these tattoos for my daughter to use at her birthday party thinking it was such a cute idea. Well, the designs are cute and it was neat that the girls got to color on themselves, but removing the tattoos the next day was really difficult. The directions said to use soap or rubbing alcohol, but neither worked for us! We had to scrape and rub and scrape and rub some more until their skin was red! We only used about 15 of the 40 in the box and I threw the rest out. This is a great idea but something more easily removable would be much more fun.
