Its thick, narrow blade is distal tapered and flat ground to a zero edge. This creates a unique cross section that facilitates both penetration of the tip and cutting power previously unknown in such a thick, narrow blade. The integral handle of the spike compliments its minimalist theme. It has been carefully shaped out of solid steel, wrapped with cord and had all of its sharp edges "melted" so they don't irritate the hand. | | | Features: | |

Cold Steel, One Sweet knifeJun 27, 2010
By Luvinhistory Over the years I've owned many Cold Steel products and this one lives up to the reputation very well. It is razor sharp out of the box and is great at holding an edge.

Good basic knifeFeb 11, 2012
By HG772 This is an excellent basic boot knife. Travels easily and securely. Blade is good quality steel and sharp. Didn't stick in sheath, and cuts twine easily (like butter).
Good little knifeSep 16, 2011
By K. Ferriman This is a great little knife. The case is solid, it is quick and comfortable in hand and has a great modern design. My only grips are that the blade could be an inch longer, and that it could be more of a double sided dagger - like a traditional Skean Dhu. This is not an everything knife - it is more of an emergency shiv. I wear it on my boot when I wear my Unitlikilt for a more modern Scottish look. The holes in the case could be larger - paracord size like other Cold Steel sheaths, but other than these complaints, this is a great knife that any modern Scotsman can wear proudly.
