I recently purchased these Yakima bike straps #2412 for my hitch bike carrier. One size does not fit all models. The holes were way too small to fit over the cradle. I have been unable to find replacement straps from any Yakima dealer in our surrounding area. But after much research, I think I finally found the correct size straps from a place in Texas called Rack Outfitters. The correct size strap is #8820103 and $8.00 for 2. My bike rack is a Big Horn 4 hitch model - 2002.

Yakima Chain Straps are used to tie down and reinforce a bicycle to a Hitch Style Bike Rack. I unfortunately had my previous Straps stolen from me from a Car Detailer I thought I could trust. I could not find any replacements from Bike Shops (Even one's that cater to the Yakima Franchise), so I looked them up on Amazon and was amazed to find them listed so I instantly ordered them. I was additionally amazed that in less then five (5) days they we're delivered. I would like to give a big Thank You to Amazon and the company that supplied the straps.

Thank you to the previous review!!! I also had a hard time trying to make the chainstrap #2412 fit my older bike rake, as I quickly found out that one size does not fit all. I found a company online, etrailer.com that sells the #8820103 for those who are looking for the same part.

I bought these for my Little Joe rack. They weren't exactly the right model, but I pulled really hard and got them to work. They're strong and stretchy, though very, very tight on my model rack. With the right model they'll work great.
