Works great for day-to-dayDec 28, 2007
By c2 If you are just looking for a product to clean your ceramic stovetop on a daily or bi daily basis, then this is your product. However, if you really need a great cleanser, this one won't do the job. I had no idea how to take care of a ceramic cooktop and thus mine looks horrendous. The gal below, Jackie, has the only solution I've found that works on that type of hideous stain. The Mr. Clean eraser, bar keepers friend cleanser, with a Windex chaser really does an amazing job. This product is great for a light problem, but if you're really looking for something to deep clean, then try the Mr. Clean/Cleanser option.

best product for glass top stovesMar 11, 2007

I bought a glass top stove 3 years ago. I tried every cleaner on the market and cyram a brite works the best by far. My stove top still looks like new, and I'm not a nice neat cook. I clean it every 2 day and it's very easy. No hard scrubbing. I have recommended it to my neice. She just bought a glass top stove and she loves it. I did try at least 5 products on the market, but this is the very best. klutzy9

Can't agree with jhunter..Love this productAug 20, 2007
By Abbie320 A tiny 2.5 ounce bottle of Cerama Bryte came with my GE, white top w/speckled black top stove, I bought 3 years ago. So glad to find this product on Amazon, mine is almost gone and it's been three years, 2.5 ounces! I cook at least five nights a week. I just don't know what jhunter means. All I do is put one or two drops of Cerama Bryte on brown water spots, move it around with my finger to cover the brown spots or any food marks, then wipe with a paper towel. Gone!!, all water burns, food burns. On tough spots, and I've had a few bad spots, afraid they would not come off, I've reapplied product, rub gently with my figure, leaving product on for minute, then wipe and repeat if needed. I have never had to use anything to scrub stove top, never. More product, time and rubbing gently with finger, wiping with paper towel has done the job every time even with tough water/food burns. After reading jhunters review, I am hoping that the cerama bryte I got with my stove is the same strength as I am ordering with Amazon. I cannot figure out why jhunter had the difficulty he/she had. I love this product!

Ceramabryte is tightDec 12, 2008
By Emmalu I have used Cerama Bryte for about six or seven years and have augmented it with Cerama Bryte burned-on grease remover and abrasive pad, along with a Cerama Bryte scraper. These devices combined have kept my cooktops (I've had two different ones) looking beautiful.
I apply the cleaner with a damp sponge, let it dry(not too dry; it is harder to buff if it gets very dry) for a minute or two, then wipe it clean with a dish towel. A residue comes off onto your towel so don't use your best one or at least plan to add some whitener to your wash. If any blemishes remain on the stovetop, I apply either the grease remover and use the abrasive pad or, much more frequently, use the scraper and clean the small affected area again with the cooktop cleaner. The scraper is magical for spots or smears that won't budge easily; you'll use it a lot. It's a neat little invention with a retractable blade and it lasts forever.
This sounds like a long laborious process, but it's not. It's a matter of minutes and you're done! Mission accomplished in the kitchen and you're outta there.

Great glass top cleaner!Mar 03, 2011
By solerider This seems to be the best cleaner for our black glass top range we have found....Leaves less streaks than even the bottle that came with the Whirlpool range. Not much elbow grease is needed either.
