5Great glasses!Oct 27, 2007
By HBmom "HBmom"
I bought these for my husband and he loves them. They are a true wrap around design so they keep the wind out of his eyes. They're made for a larger face...something that seems to be hard to find these days. Can't beat Bolle's polarization, either. We definitely recommend these sunglasses!

4Great pair of sunglasses!Mar 16, 2009
By Theo
I have been very happy with my Bolle Recoil glasses. I got them as a gift about a year ago, and had worn them every day until recently when I somehow lost them. I liked them so much that I am buying another pair!

They are very comfortable to wear, which is saying a lot from me since I really don't like glasses that much. I just don't like the feeling of them resting on my nose. These were so comfortable because they kind of hold onto your head, so that all the weight is not centered right on the bridge of your nose. They fit snug and tight around the face so that no excess sunlight or wind gets in. Great for skiing and outdoor stuff.

The one thing I wasn't too fond of was the "Thermogrip rubber temples and nose pads" material. It was fine on the nose pads, but it began to come off in little sticky pieces on the temples. I just ended up tearing the stuff out. This was the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.

Overall though, they are great glasses, and I would definitely recommend them!

5Good glassesApr 06, 2009

I had gotten tired of buying the cheap versions from locally super store. These are good built, come with a case and cleaning rag which is very nice to have. Polarized lens are nice. These wrap around my eyes which I like. This seems to keep the wind from drying out my contacts when outside.

4Better than I'd thought they'd beApr 20, 2008

Love these. A very snug, wrap around fit, great for running biking, etc... More than cool enough looking to wear with your regular clothes. Very sharp, clear lenses and easily worth a bit more than you are paying for them.
Knocking off one star because the nose pad irritates the sides of my nose a bit, but that that's probably because of my nose shape and not the glasses themselves.

5Bolle Sport Recoil RockOct 05, 2009
By J. Malmquist "cparkhorn"
These are probably the best sunglasses I've ever owned. I've got a bigger face and need good sized men's glasses, these are perfect. Funny thing is a friend that has a smaller face got these with the turtle (whatever it's called) instead of black and they fit his face well also. If you don't have polarized glasses, get some. You can't begin to explain the difference. If you're ever on water (boating, fishing etc) polarized is an absolute must.

I'm big into hunting and boating here in Texas, these Bolle Sport Recoils are absolutely perfect. On the boat or SeaDoo they block the wind really, really well. I also hunt often, on a 4 wheeler or out of the top seat on a hunting buggy these not only block the wind, but they perfectly block the dust out of my eyes as well. I used to never be able to play golf with glasses on, but I wear these the entire round as well. The wrap around coverage keeps me from constantly looking at frames.

One big problem I have is that I usually have to wear glasses for a bit to see if they hurt my ears (at the top where they sit on my ear next to my skull). Some make me feel like someone is splitting the skin, these do not, although that's a tough one to judge for other people, but thought I'd mention it.

Lastly, I bought my first pair of these locally in Texas and paid over a hundred, a bought a backup pair to keep in my car at all times and Amazon pricing was almost half that, unbeatable from what I found.
