This alarm clock is very basic and it gives you two volume options. If you are a deep sleeper like me and you need an alarm you cannot possibly sleep through then this is the perfect clock for you. Good value for the money

Yep, it's an alarm clock. I bought it for my 16 yr old who won't wake up with cymbals crashing over his head. He's finally getting use to the idea of an alarm clock and it's nice that I can get a little extra sleep these days.

This is a nice little alarm clock. The numbers are large and easily readable for sleepy eyes. The description states it has two volume levels, normal and extra loud but I don't know that I'd classify the louder setting as 'extra loud.' I also don't notice a gentle wake cycle.... but that could be because I instantly snooze it! I love the fact that the snooze button is long and not hard to find. I gave it only 4 stars because it does not have an dual alarm on it... didn't even realize they made them with a single alarm any more! :)

This is a great little clock with a large, bright display. I like that it's electric with a battery backup, but the alarm is an irritating shrill that's a bit disconcerting.

Like most kids, mine has a hard time getting up in the morning for school. I felt like her alarm clock wasn't loud enough so I bought this one for her. She agrees it worked, it's louder and wakes her up quicker. I call that a success!
