Bought this for my youngest daughter who has just started bass. The lessons are for people who have just picked up the bass so were right on her level. It is a good source to learn basic skills and scales. The songs on the disk, however, are not things most people care to know how to play. After she learned the basics from the disk, wrote down the scales and tiads it was the last time she used the program. If the songs were updated and if the singing for each song wasn't so bad I could have given this program more stars. So if you need to learn the basics of the bass (how to hold it, scales, triads ect) this is a good program for you but after you learn that, you'll find yourself searching the internet for songs you actually want to play.

bought this for my brother for his birthday. he is a beginning bass player and so far he is very happy with it!
