Too good to be trueJun 08, 2009
By C Myers
I use the regular strength badger balm and was so impressed that I wanted to try the extra strength one here. It was almost as good, but it left red rashes where it was applied because of the red peppers in it. I was disappointed, but my husband decided to use it and loved it! He doesn't get the red rashes and scoops up this little can when he is sore and applies it to his calves and shoulders. I am happy that it works so well for him, the reason for the four stars, but I use the regular strenth rated at 5 stars. This one doesn't smell as relaxing as the regular, but it still does not have a bad smell or anything. I would recommend it for those who do not have sensitive skin.

Natural and Effective; Costs Too MuchApr 25, 2014
I have a progessive illness that makes my muscles sore among other things, and at night it can be hard to get to sleep. I have medication, but even so...some nights are better than others. I also have very sensitive skin, which means a lot of the drugstore's glue-on patches are out of the question.
I resent like crazy the amount that I pay for this tiny tin of ointment and the whopping postage and handling packed on top of it, but so far I think they must hold a patent, because only Badger sells it.
In short, if you are truly desperate enough to pay a lot for so little--which I am sometimes--do it.
works pretty goodFeb 16, 2014
I have severe chronic muscle pain and tried pretty much everything while this is not the best rub I have tried it works better than alot of others. The best I have found is thermaflex liniment gel. While it is made for horses I use it and it really helps!!! If you are like me and tried everything else and found they are to weak to do the job than you can try this.
