This vacuum blows out dust and particles just as fast as it is sucking it in. The filter clogs easily. The accessories don't stay clippled on. The 12V adapter unplugs itself with just the slightest tug on the cord (I noticed this in two different cars).
Save your money, shop for another brand.

Like Joe in the previous review, I concur. This is a terrible vacuum cleaner. It blows out anything that's inside of it, so you end up not only with the same mess, but with dust particles in your eyes. It's a terrible waste of money.

This vacuum blows out dust and particles just as fast as it is sucking it. It's the worst product of Black&Decker. When you are cleaning your car, full dust blows to your face!!!

Being a Black and Decker product, I was sure it would work wonderfully. However, I have used better products. It blows dust around and the filter gets clogged quickly.

The vac seems powerful enough, but paraphasing the manual, the customer is to use the car's power accessory, without the engine running, but having the engine running may shorten the lifespan of the vac. Customer is cautioned that some power excessories in autos may not work without the engine running.
Of coure this is not explained in the online discription.
