OK to Wash-It Permanent Fabric Bond worksFeb 01, 2009

This product works as advertised. I have a pair of permanent press trousers that needed the hem repaired. The bond solution worked through three washings and does not appear to be breaking down. The reason I give this product 4 out of 5 stars is because it is a thin solution so be prepared to control the application. It could be a little thicker.

sticks like glueJan 18, 2011

I have been using this product for years. I glued two kitchen towels together length-wise to wrap around my head after I wash my hair. Not nearly as bulky as a bath size towel (and takes up less room in the washer). Currently the home-made set I use now was glued together atleast 5 years ago and it's still holding strong. Gets washed and machine dried 52 (or more) times per year. On the previous towel set I made, the towels frayed, but this glue stayed strong and held the towels in place. PS - this glue stinks when first applied, but has no smell after it dries.

love itApr 28, 2009

great product, can be a bit messy - so be careful. It does tend to dry a slighter darker shade on light colours but it holds beautifully and it washes without any problems. Be prepared to wait 24 hours before you wear it as takes a good time to dry. Its not a quick fix, like a hem before you run out the door but its a great fabric glue and you CAN wash it!

OK Fabric GlueAug 12, 2009

Did not completely hold up on the denim cuffs I added to my jeans. Also became really stiff when it dried. Seems like it would be better for adding sequins or something - not hemming denim jeans.

disappointedNov 28, 2011
By Mr Roland This product did not work at all for me the way it was described. It did not make a permanent bond, it stained the fabric and in general was very messy to work with. I should have known better than to buy a product that cost only a penney. That's right! The seller was selling the product for one cent. I'm sorry that I wasted $4.95 on the shipping cost. Will never buy it again. I guess it's true that you get what you pay for.
