By A I have used AVG in the past and have always liked it. The new 2012 version is the best. You will be satisfied.

A bit bulkyMar 18, 2012
By Pablo I am still undecided if this is an improvement over other AVG products. I am unable to see videos in YouTube, because AVG has an accelerator mode that is not compatible with YouTube. Also, I am not sure if my computer is slower now than before. On the plus side, it really seems to block everything that threats my computer. The Interface is still easy and fast to use. The search features are robust. I recommend you play a bit with the free AVG feature found on internet, before buying the whole suit.

Works Great But!Feb 14, 2012
By Phoenix PC Mods I've used AVG products for a few years now and recently bought it directly from there site (cheaper here at Amazon) anyway its one of the best anti-virus softwares out there. It has stopped every trojan, virus, keylogger and such that I've come in contact with. Although its a little heavy on system resources I didn't dock it a star for that, I've docked it a star for the new interface. I like the old one much better. Yeah I know it doesn't effect the software anyway if you need a good security system for your computer this would be a good choice for you. Works well with vista, windows 7 32&64 bit operating systems. Would recommend especially over Norton or McAfee.

Been using AVG for 3 years now. By far the most elaborate UI, but at the back of it, there's the same old solid AV protection. The only annoying thing for me so far have been the prompts asking me to buy their PcTune software. It took a little while figuring out how disable it, but it was 10 minutes well spent. Also for people like me who dont want to buy their pctune up suite, i have had good experiences using a software called glary utilities. Hope it helps. Cheers !
AVG: Should Have Purchased Something ElseMay 22, 2012
By John Robnson I purchased the 3-installation pack of AVG Internet Security, and honestly, I can't complain about AVG's protection of my computer because I haven't experienced any infections or mal-ware problems, so it's safe to say it's working. My problems is it takes the software FOREVER to load, and god forbid it should try to update. It makes using a computer useless when that is happening. I suppose it's too much to ask for anti-virus software to a) protect my computer, but b)minimally affect performance. AVG has been a disappointment since I installed it. My computer boots painfully slow and I see periodic freezes when using after having installed the software. I've tried turning off and turning down features, but I don't really gain much in performance. I'm not sure I'll purchase this product again.
