Yep, it's really nice to have!Feb 09, 2012
By S. L. Hutchison Tried this out for hauling stones across my hilly, half wooded yard as I border new paths and build walls and such. It's ideal for that because you don't have to try to lift stuff up into a wheelbarrow (and down again), or balance the barrow once it's up there. You can just roll the stones into it and out of it. It slides over a fairly rough path in our woods without difficulty. There is a limit to how much weight a person with my strength can haul, especially up an incline, but I was surprised at how much I could get done in one trip. It appears to be quite sturdy. I expect it will be quite helpful when I need to haul gravel to fill in that path, too. A clever garden tool! I'm pleased!
Superb, ingenious back-saver!Jan 20, 2012

This seemingly simple device allows you to move any heavy object with ease by simply placing it on the disc and pulling with the rope handle. Because it is made from some kind of strong, slick plastic, it slides easily over concrete, grass, and other surfaces. The low center of gravity keeps things firmly on the disc--I have never had anything fall off, even going down a hill. I easily moved a chunk of wood weighing (I estimate) 200 lbs with this device, over concrete, macadam, and grass. The great thing was that I never had to lift it, as I would have to get it in a wheel barrow or similar carrier. I just rolled that beast onto the disc and pulled it along. This also excels at moving sand, gravel, and so on. It seems to be very tough and durable. A brilliant piece of kit!
