great motherboard for moneyJan 06, 2012
By evildarkmofo this motherboard is awesome. I use this with a am3 six core processor (1090t) and it boots and works perfectly. However, the only problem i can say is that if you ever get a black screen and see that their is only a cursor blinking, it is probably because you updated the bios. if not and you still get the same thing then you have to go to bios and rearrange you boot order or if that doesnt help just restart your pc and problem will be easily solved. besides that small error, the board has been running great.
UGH!Oct 09, 2011
By Warsun UGH! Punch! Yeah you taste that! That's my 32GB of motherboard Ram that shoved in your FACE! Yes this motherboard supports 32GB of DDR3 Ram! The bandwidth is ridiculously high! This i would recommend to all people who need a computer for Performance! PERFORMANCE! Do you know how rare that is?It's one thing to have a motherboard that supports 16GB.But how many can support 32GB!
Get a SSD drive and you are set!Minimum recommended ram i would say is 6GB with Windows 7 Systems. You can max out performance on both Windows Vista and Windows 7 ultimate!

Great Board for the PriceJul 19, 2011
By Major I have had the system build for a month now and not a bad thing to say about this board at all. I was a little skeptical at the price but I did not need on board video and the 6GB/S sata connections were a plus since the HDD I was going with could utilize them. Plenty of space and great layout. I have a huge CPU cooler (see photo section) and it did not interfere with any of the RAM Slots. There are possible a few cons but I knew them going in and they did not effect my build what so ever. PROS: Full ATX well build board 6 sata 6GB/S Layout if great (spacing, cpu fan plug in location Military Class DDR3 1333 (1600 with OC)
CONS: sata plugs are stacked in pairs so some cables (right angle connectors) will blog some of the plugs Only USB 2.0 Not the newest chipset
As mentioned before I knew my listed cons coming in and they do not effect me really. USB 3.0 is a little faster but if its a big file it still take a long time on either lol.
5 Stars from me and I would buy and recommend MSI motherboards in the future.

It won't load XP and MSI won't replyOct 03, 2011

I like MSI products now with their Military Class components. That is what they call it anyway. Quality components. So by the time you want new technology this thing will likely be going strong. But one thing I don't like is how it didn't load XP. I did some research and found out that if you slipstream I guess it is called SP3 with your XP you can load it. I did that perfectly. It updated it and I put it back on disk. The install went further along after that but finally errored again in a different way. So if you have XP and think you will load it on this motherboard I wouldn't try it. I was forced to order a 260.00 Windows 7 Ultimate. I didn't want to pay Microsoft's dirty ransom but I put it on my credit card anyway. I will have to see how it does along with Dirt3 I ordered. So if you have Windows 7 buy it. If you don't then don't buy it. The box also says Compatible with Windows 7...no mention of XP either. I wonder when the day will come the industry doesn't let me load Windows 7 Ultimate? I will give it three stars since I didn't see any warnings saying that you will need Windows 7. In fact I think I will give it two stars. I would have liked a heads up. I might not have bought it if I read the truth.
