I bought this because it charges devices even with the computer turned off, however the power transformer makes a horrible very high pitched and very loud noise that I can't even stand it during the day, never mind at night. I have to keep turning it off. I should have returned the device but I foolishly thought it would go away after it 'burnt in' so to speak but it never did. It might be a bad transformer, but I can't give this anything other than a one star. If Amazon wants to send me a replacement power transformer, that'd be fabbo.

will not charge an itouch which is the reason I bought it, so that we could all charge our devices at the same time.
