VGA Video SplitterAug 20, 2011
By Terry Bought this product to utilize for a surveillance system so that 3 T.V.'s as well as a monitor could host the signal seen by the cameras through a DVR. Has worked very well with no apparent signal loss even though I used 50 ft. cables to hook-up each T.V. I would recommend purchasing if you intend on using VGA as your video source.
Great purchaseJul 08, 2011
By peter njonjo I've used this for 2 years and it's excellent. Flicker free steady image. I have it always connected to flat-screen & monitor and outputs at high resolution. Must have product for home media center.
It is ok, but it does cause ghosting....Dec 05, 2010
By Richard Patterson Bought this to connect three monitors to one source.... but it does ghost.. my lengths weren't more than 10 feet maximum each..... since bought another video splitter for even less and that causes no ghosting.... so sorry, I can't recommend this, unless a bit of ghosting is ok for you. rsp
PerfectNov 14, 2010
By cds333 Could not ask for more (well, maybe a little cheaper); this thing does exactly what it's supposed to do, with no distortion or noticeable difference between monitors. Great product!

Quality degradation over 50'Nov 12, 2011
By mocnozama Splitter works stated, but the loss of quality over a long distances is disappointing. I have a PC which powers three monitors (one in the kitchen, one in the basement, and one in the garage), to use for quick surfing--I know how dated that sounds, but I put the system together 5+ years ago, so it was somewhat novel then. Since already in place, I haven't replaced/upgraded the system. I purchased this with the aim of adding an additional terminal to the setup, as it was cheaper than upgrading to HDMI and/or wireless options given my existing setup.
One monitor is 50+ feet from the PC, and the signal quality clearly suffers, but is still viewable. The quality loss is disappointing, but not fatal, as the setup is not used for any quality media consumption--just some youtube videos and light web-surfing.
