A REAL reviewSep 10, 2011
By Panopsquat This is one of my first swords i have ever bought. The picture is a bit decieving. The handle is a very cheap plastic and the engaving looks really cheap. The blue jewl is plastic, but i dont know why the other reviews had problems with that. It looks really good. Also, the blade isnt very sharp. Obviously, that can be fixed. I dont think this product is worth $50. I would suggest going with a cheaper sword if money is any concern to you at all.

Picture DeceivingJun 20, 2011
By nerfherder147 Compared to other swords found on Amazon in the similar price range (I bought 4 different kinds at once for wedding gifts), I found this to be the lowest quality by far. Apart from the comparatively small size, the workmanship is poor on this sword. The blue insert on the handle is cheap cloudy plastic which was not cleaned after molding. Overall, I would suggest bypassing this sword and instead looking at the Medieval Crusader Chivalry Knight's Long Sword w/ Scab as an alternative.

By Lawrence Godfrey coming from a person who has owned several swords intended for actual use, i bought this for a friend who insisted this is what he wanted. it's vaguely pretty and is somewhat shiny. the decorative work is kind of cool...but i'm not terribly impressed overall....i know it's the sort of thing that would break the moment you tried to cut down a dandelion with it.

By Dave and Ellen The handle is stable although the blue insert is plastic. It makes great decor i think you should buy it.even though i haven't even bought it.
