I've been using various Hosa cables and adapters for many years and none have failed me. This cable is sturdy and does what it's designed to do. There are obviously more pricey cables available, and maybe they offer some sound quality improvement that I can't detect, but I have not found a better value than Hosa cables.

On my mixer, I have send/returns on the same plug using a 3 wire TRS with send on the tip, return on the ring, and a common ground. But my effects boxes like to have separate 1/4" TR ins and outs.
This is the perfect cable for just such a hookup of things like the behringer shark Behringer Shark FBQ100 Automatic Feedback Destroyer to the 1202-vlZ3's send/returns Mackie 1202-VLZ3 12-Ch. Compact Recording/SR Mixer
I probably will order a second cable having seen how well the first one worked out on a send/return.

I've got to say that I'm always a little skeptical when I'm trying to buy something and the price is ridiculously cheap! However, this turned out to be exactly what I was looking for and I received it right on time! I've been buying used equipment, but will not do that any more when I can buy it brand new for less money!

First, these are not high end cables. However, you'd expect there to not be any shorts in the cables upon first use. I needed the stereo split for a static install where I only needed to plug them in once and then leave them. There is a short in the TRS plug end. Usually these cables are fine as long as you don't physically plug/unplug them alot, but not this time. Not worth sending back, I'll probably put my own plugs on the cable now.

I ALLWAYS KEEP A FEW OF THESE ON HAND THEY SEEM TO HOLD UP RATHER WELL I USE THEM TO CONNECT STEREO INSERT ON A MIXING BOARD FROM MY KEYS L/R OUT SOUNDS GREAT, BUT THERE ARE LOTS OF AAPPLICATIONS.
