Planar quality diminishingDec 08, 2009
By RedRocker I own two planar monitors (19 & 23") and love them. They are big screens (4:3 ratio) and render text and colors accurately. This 24" in unit feels cheap all around, the stand is wanky, and screen size is very small due to the 16:9 ratio. There was the same amount of real estate on it as on my 19" and way less than my 23". Color rendition appeared fine, but I'm afraid Planar's build quality has declined in recent years.
