Great monitor for 3D visionFeb 03, 2011
By Scott Pratz I recently did some research into what the best 3D vision monitor is currently and came across this. As of this review, my research suggests that this monitor has the least level of crosstalk/ghosting of any LCD on the market.
Running at 120hz using the dual link DVI cable is nice but where this thing really shines is 3D. The overall 3D experience is great with the Nvidia 3D vision kit, it is a new level of immersion into video games. Its almost like your looking through a window into your game, giving everything depth. This is the future of gaming...
My system is: Core i5 2.6 ghz quad core, Nvidia GTX 570, 6 gigs of ram, and windows 7.

Great Gaming MonitorSep 21, 2011
By Andrew S I did alot of looking around for a new gaming monitor because i wanted a 120hz monitor. I finaly chose this one and i'm not dissapointed at all. The difference was instantly noticeable when i booted up a game. I can't comment on the 3D capabilities because i didn't have an interest in buying the glasses to try it out,but the 2d 120hz is pretty awesome. would definetly recommend this to someone looking for a non glossy gaming monitor.

It's Alright.Mar 10, 2011
By Remer I gotta say, I jumped at the thought of getting a 3D monitor with no ghosting or crosstalk. I did my research and it led me to this monitor.
Now there is some new issue with called "white banding" that I'm getting only when I play in 3D at the top and bottom of the screens. It's some kind of technique they use to rid the monitor of ghosting, but it creates a new annoying effect. Since I'm kind of a newbie to 3D LCDs, I suggest you read this review - [...]
Now this banding problem isn't that bad, but somebody who gets annoyed by little distracting things like this might be really disappointed.
As for the non 3D part, it performs flawlessly so far.
120hz rocksFeb 25, 2012
By TiesTorN Just one word; 120hz. It's the best thing happened to gamers. I don't care about 3d, I just bought this monitor for 2d 120hz option and I couldn't be happier... I gotta say that if you're a gamer, this is your monitor. Forget about the fancy IPS panels, they're just good for photographers and designers, this is the real deal for us.
Now I don't know why the price went up like 100$, but I bought it for 270$... It's a good monitor for that price, but with this price you can just look at other monitors cuz this baby is not perfect, it has some light bleeding along the screen for example.
Planar ReviewDec 24, 2011
By Timecop67 I'll start with the pros of this monitor. Very nice industrial style adjustable stand. Very little noticeable back-light bleed while in dark scenes. Great company to deal with warranty work and customer service out of Oregon. Fast 120 refresh rate for 2d gaming and general desktop use. You will notice smoother 2d gaming performance especially if your graphics card is on the upper end. No dead pixels on the unit I purchased and firmware is up to date.
The cons: The menus and buttons are a little tricky to navigate and use out of the box, takes some getting use to. Screen is super bright out of box had to adjust brightness and contrast. This is a TN panel so colors are not overly gorgeous but the monitor has a realistic tone to it so I will not knock off a star for the panel type. I would highly recommend this monitor until the IPS panels start to have the 120hz ability.
