Don't know what happened but i could not get anything out of this speaker,
tried on several products maybe there was a broken wire inside...
what a bummer... Hope I can get a new one.. Will let you know.

Its a good speaker, not very loud but it saound very good compared to the stock speaker of my Galaxy DX959 Radio.
For a CB Home Station Set, its a good choice.
Looks smaller in the picture but it is big!

I purchase these for commercial use.. They are hard to beat for the money. They use a 1/8 plug similar to a mp3 plug. Look on the back of the radio you own and see if there is a small jack... If so, more than likely, this will work for you.. Marine radios and CB's should work for sure.. I see right now they are under $8.00 and free shippping.. You won't find these anywhere cheaper.. You might have to buy $25.00 worth of stuff to get the Free Ship but it's worth it...Sound quality is excellent.. Factory speakers in radios are tinny and do not have good audio.. If you turn the volume way up, they distort. By using this speaker, you can keep your volume lower and have better audio quality, making speech easier to understand.. Caution on some base scanners: they have a headphone jack. These speakers do not work properly in those jacks. They will fit but sound very low.. That jack is designed for headphones and not external speaker. Please consult the scanner company and see if an external speaker is available for your model prior to buying one...

I had to cut off the connector to connect it to my radio, but the speaker is very high quality. The speakers bracket is very rigid although you need to loosen it all the way to adjust it.
