Excellent sound. I have been around professional audio equipment my whole life, and, these are some of the best speakers i have ever owned. The only advice i can give is, you need a high power amp to push them properly.

these are the classic big bad loudspeaker!!
i have mine hooked up with a 100 watt receiver and a 100 watt power amp and i barely have the volume and gains turned up and they are shaking the house. the fact that they can handle a lot more is a bonus. these speakers are for real. crystal clear sound, thunderous bass, solid mids. i dont have enough amp to even hit close to what these speakers can do and my windows are shaking (and the neighbors too hahaha) i have had confidence in CV products for many years and these live up to the standard

I was a little leery when I chose these speakers for my quad room when I found out they also made a matching sub-woofer. But because of the name I took the chance and bought 4 of these together. After hooking them up to my Sansui QRX-999 (60watts rms times 4)there was no more doubt. Unreal highs with the horn but unbelievable bass from a floor tower that takes up so little space. I have bass reflex speakers 3 times the size that can just keep up with these beauty's. The house shakes and the glasses rattle off the bar but these just keep going. I've listened to a lot of speakers in my time and for the price these are well worth it. And because of the style, the wife likes them too. They are set up in the family room and they match definely. Luckily when I purchased them off of Amazon this spring I got the 4 for under a grand, looks like their catching on.

Bought two of these speakers for college next year. I plan on throwing some parties and these speakers were perfect. Good price and very loud. At $290 for each I couldnt beat the price. Some people say that cerwin vegas have low sound quality however I can turn these things up all the way and they still sound great. I have them hooked up to a Harman Kardon 3490 receiver that I also bought on amazon for $260. I highly recommend these speakers to anyone who wants to throw parties. Wouldnt recommend for someone that just wants to listen to music casually because they are huge and take up alot of room.

These are the best speakers money can buy if you ask me. I have always owned Cerwin Vega. The only negative I could say is that they are a very, very expensive item and not worth the price.
