Not fully reliable but Cust Support can be helpfullJan 21, 2011
By Carlos Hernandez It has a very simple interface. When it works, it can copy the entire DVD or only the features you want.
I am revising my review of the vendor and their product and am pleased to say that I did get a prompt (really quick!) and professional response today when a technical issue happened when I needed to re-install the application due to a rebuild of my computer. Support aced this one!
The issue of it being able to "Copy ANY Blu-ray movie..." "Copy ANY DVD movie..." "Convert ANY DVD..." continues to be not totally correct, but over time I have found that the main issue is that the software seems to work better working with DVDs than with Blu-ray. In fact, DVD copying appears to be more reliable.

123 Copy DVD Platinum is GarbageDec 15, 2010
By Mountainbiker This software is total junk. Do not waste your time and money. Additionally, technical support from this company is a joke. If you decide to punish yourself, be prepared for a long wild goose chase that will never get you resolution.
DVDs - It will not make backup copies of DVDs that I've tested. I've wasted several blanks trying. It seems to go through the process, but the disks have problems: freezing, no top menu, etc.
Blu-rays - It will not make a backup copy of a very common disk. The 123 Copy software box says, "Copy any blu-ray or DVD movie." This is a total lie, and they are very much aware that their software is junk from viewing the terrible "support" site. They have excuses for this too.
The software tells you to login with Admin rights in Win7 even though you already are. Their "tech support" tells you this is normal. It is a bug.
Technical Support - Basically, there isn't any. You will get sent on a wild goose chase if you finally get a response from them that you can barely understand. They are full of excuses and will ask you ISBN numbers of disks. Finally, you will realize that you are dealing with a bunch of amatures. After providing them with extreme details of my problems, they sent me detail on how to return the software. THIS IS PATHETIC!
My operating system is Win7/64-bit. Blu-ray drive is LG Super Multi.

Their Support Says It Doesn't WorkMar 30, 2011
By Gary Cregg I tried the software on a Dell Studio XPS and a Sony Vaio laptop. It didn't work on either one. I sent all of the logs to 123 support. This is their final message: "We have forwarded the problem to the developer and are currently await a patch or solution to the problem. If you wish you can try our work around where we have listed the steps below to bypass the problem." Basically, it involved using 123 to copy the dvd to a folder and using 'Imgburn' to burn the new dvd.
I returned it to Amazon. They provided a complete refund. While the software was not close to being Platinum, Amazon service always is.

DO NOT BUYNov 18, 2010
By Jessica Richard I bought this software from Office Depot. Nothing works. I searched the website for refund information, but there's no phone number. You have to return the cd and receipt within 10 days, but there's no address to send it to. Save yourself the hassle and use another product.
