I'm a little surprised at all the bad reviews for the Platinum verison of this product. Maybe it was based on the computer the other reviewers were using while utilizing this product, but I'm on a newer model Dell w/ Windows 7 and have no complaints whatsover. the software loads up quick and it's rather intuitive on the selection options.
I think the best way to evaluate this software for your self would be to go to [...] and get the Free 7 day trial version. You can save yourself a little money though, by just downloading the "123 copy dvd 2 mobile" version. There's even a 7 day trial download for that program. Don't forget to check the net for any coupons before you download, though. I found a 10 dollar coupon code that I was able to enter at checkout.
I've copied several dvd's and installed them on my nook tablet, already. My daughter even wants a few of her movies on there for long road trips.

this product DOES NOT work on a windows 7 SP1 machine DO NOT waste your time or money getting this. The support people at their site have NO idea what the problem is all!

I have used many DVD copy programs over the years and this is by far the worst. It takes twice as long as any other program and has a 60+ % failure rate. I have tried it with XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8 consumer preview. I have been in the Video field for years and a computer Tech since the early 1980's. Don't waste your money on this SW.
