I used my Fellowes Star Manual Comb Binding Machine to punch holes in about 50 pages. I then used these combs to fasten them together. The "fingers" fit the rectangular holes perfectly and overlap the solid portion of the comb. The pages turn easily and my booklet feels solid. If you are using a thick back cover or a front and back thick cover I found it better to reduce the number of pages or use a larger comb.

I ended up buying a box of each size, but I probably use these most for my purposes. If in doubt between capacities get the larger size up as it becomes increasingly more fiddly to bind as you reach full capacity.

Combs were exactly as described and pictured but SO MUCH CHEAPER than Staples. It's ridiculous how much less these cost (or I guess I mean it's ridiculous how much Staples overcharges).
